- Court related Offending Behaviour;
- Neurodevelopment Disorders such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, AD/HD and Specific Learning Disorders/difficulties; and
- Parenting difficulties/Attachment Disorders (including working with foster/adoptive parents and children).
I am also passionate about working with and helping anyone experiencing problems associated with: Grief and Loss; Anxiety; Depression; Stress Management; Anger Management and Emotional Regulation; Assertiveness Training; Social Skills Training; School based Behavioural challenges/difficulties; Workers’ Compensation and Rehabilitation; and Personality Disorders/Adjustment issues.
In order to meet each person’s individual needs, I use and draw from a range of evidenced-based therapeutic approaches including: Trauma Focused Cognitive Behaviour Therapy; Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy (Institute trained); Family Systems Therapy; Applied Behaviour Analysis; Acceptance and Commitment Therapy; Narrative Therapy; Solution-focused techniques; and Mindfulness.
I believe that everyone has the strengths and resources to achieve positive change, but require understanding, support and encouragement to develop techniques and strategies to achieve their therapeutic goals. As such, I am committed to listen to you and to work collaboratively with you to help you set and achieve your goals in a safe, supportive and respectful environment.
