I am a Clinical Psychologist at Perth Psychological Services, and I work with clients in both our Falcon and Mt Hawthorn locations. In my experience working in the area of mental health, I've become passionate about assisting people in understanding their story, and the links between their circumstances and their patterns of thoughts, behaviours, and emotions. I feel privileged to be able to observe clients' personal growth through their therapeutic journey.
Since beginning my Master's degree in Psychology (Clinical), I have worked in a variety of settings, including drug and alcohol rehabilitation facilities and private practice. I have experience working therapeutically with children, teenagers, and adults with a range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, worry and stress, grief, and substance misuse. I have also completed specialist training in the assessment of Autism Spectrum Disorders for individuals across the lifespan.
I have a particular interest in working with adults and am passionate about helping clients meet their therapy goals and enhancing their overall well-being. I draw upon a range of approaches in working with individuals, including cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), as well as mindfulness-based and behavioural interventions. Each therapeutic plan is personalised depending on your goals for working together.
I take a compassionate and collaborative approach to therapy. While working with clients, I aim to create a safe and non-judgemental environment to help clients gain a greater understanding of themselves to facilitate acceptance and growth.
