Leticia Laurent
I am a provisionally registered psychologist completing a Master of Clinical Psychology and about to commence my clinical psychology endorsement at Perth Psychological Services. I grew up in Queensland before moving to Perth 10 years ago.
Prior to commencing my journey in psychology, I have worked in the disability and alcohol and other drug sectors. I have also co-facilitated groups for children with anxiety. I have experience in working across the lifespan however my passion is working with mother-infant dyads and children.
I have experience in providing assessment and therapeutic intervention for a broad range of clinical presentations. My approach to treatment is relational and client centred, is developmentally informed and draws from psychodynamic, cognitive behavioural and mentalisation based frameworks.
I strive to understand my client's unique challenges and connect with them on a deep level to provide tailored therapeutic care.
