Dylan Kirkpatrick

Clinical Psychologist Registrar BPsych (Hons), MPsych (Clinical)

I am a Clinical Psychologist Registrar working across our PPS offices in Falcon and North Perth. I am passionate about mental wellbeing with a strong commitment to helping individuals, families, and communities achieve and maintain good mental health.  I take an open and collaborative approach to best understand what has brought you to see me, and how best I can assist you in meeting your unique mental health goals. I use techniques from a range of evidence based approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Schema-Focussed Therapy, Family Therapy and Family-Based interventions, motivational interviewing techniques, and mindfulness and compassion based frameworks.

I have always enjoyed learning about and helping others, with a particular interest in Depression, Social and Generalised Anxiety Disorder, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Conduct Disorder, Emotional Dysregulation, Personality Disorder, Trauma, and Family Therapy. I am also able to conduct cognitive, behavioural, and functional assessments for children, adolescents, and adults of all ages, that can assist in the diagnosis and management of specific learning disorders, intellectual disability, other neurocognitive issues, and conduct and behavioural challenges. I have also completed specialist training in the assessment of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

I look forward to working with you at either our North Perth or Falcon Clinics.
